Some 'do it yourself' pages I feel need creeping in here and there, little touches to the page, some spray cans would be a nice touch on top of some of my work to create that real, rough, feel.A few thoughts whilst creating these pages. I didn't say before but I love texture! During last terms project, we had to do a drawing a day, this painting was a random mistake on a page that I just went with. Looking and analysing I loved the stroke texture of the paint just being messy and covering up that white clean paper. Incorporating photoshop again I selected certain areas of the colour strokes I wanted from the image and simply enlarged and transferred a copy of it onto of my original image along side a faded version to create that balance. I Love dimension too, and with the 'do it yourself', I would like when I am ready to print, slip in a piece of tracing paper between the pages to create that misty illusion of not making out what the image is, and dimension within the paper too.
