Week 5 - Adobe Design

Today's session consisted of learning about Adobe Design cc and how to design a book publication. Using Text boxes and shapes, we squishes and stretched the typography to create a match for Nation Geographic Magazine. Alt and arrow either direction spaces out the letter, or squishes them together. It's very important to have a high resolution image then using in Design otherwise when the publication is published the image will be pixelated and bad quality.

An incredible feature to using Adobe within apple is the 'Digital Color Metre'. If you like a particular colour on say your favourite website, using 'cmd' space you can type in the DCM you hover over the colour on the page and it will give you the RGB colour space numbers to type in!Remember when you go to publish your book to change the colour sace back to CMYK. Within Design, window, character and character font style you can change hight, width, colour style, sans, all character aspects of each letter! Cool huh.

Another great aspect is, if you right click your text box and click fill then fill box with text it will the text box with useless letters and words so you can create a visual look of what your design page would look like. That is exactly what I have done In inside page.
